Several traveled to Cleveland to attend Bethany’s wedding on Sept. 21. Last weekend a big crew of us enjoyed the beautiful fall weather at Roaring River State Park. It was the best September camping we have had in years! The last two have been flooding rain and before that it was bitter cold. We would have appreciated good weather anyway, but especially after the past few years, it was great!

We wished we could have been with you all celebrating, but it turns out that even though Adam’s family didn’t need us, we are able to smooth the deployment for Nancy’s Cora by her going to school here in Berryville this year. Everyone has said that they had a wonderful time. Mom was telling me about Bethany and Ken’s dancing and how fun it was to watch. She now has a ‘data card’ so she’s got much better internet–now she just has to learn Windows 8–pretty impressive tackle for a ‘senior age person,’ huh?
