• Just for the genealogy buffs:  Steven Mitchell, is current treasurer, and son of Donald Mitchell pictured on the Mitchell Campground Cemetery page.
• Donald is son of Albert Gerome Mitchell born 1882 and died 1964.
• Albert Gerome “Rome” Mitchell is the son of Albert Wesley Norwood Mitchell born 1838 and died 1924.
• Albert Wesley is the son of Stephen Mitchell born 1802 and died 1854.
• Stephen is the son of Morris Mitchell born 1762 and died 1848.

Morris was a private first class in the Pennsylvania Service under the command of Captain Ezekel Rose’s Company.  All graves of the deceased ancestors are in the Mitchell Campground Cemetery.
